Australia has postponed its cricket match with Afghanistan due to the severity of the situation regarding “women.”
Bayan News – It has been reported that Cricket Australia has postponed its match with the Afghan national cricket team due to the severity of the situation regarding “women and girls.”
Three T20 matches were scheduled to take place in August in the United Arab Emirates with Afghanistan as the host.
Previously, Cricket Australia had also postponed its match with the Afghan national cricket team due to human rights concerns.
It should be noted that after the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan, they have severely restricted women and girls, issuing over 50 directives regarding women and girls to enforce their policies.
These actions by the Taliban against women and girls have sparked widespread international reactions.
