Taliban: Iran’s attack on Israel was justifiable
Bayan News – The Taliban’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reacted to Iran’s military attack on Israel on Monday (April 14) by issuing a statement and considering it a justifiable defense.
The statement from the Taliban’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated: “The Zionist regime, continuing its crimes, on the first of April of this year targeted the consular section of the Iranian embassy in Damascus, the capital of Syria, in violation of all diplomatic norms and international laws, to which the Islamic Republic of Iran responded with a defensive and justifiable action last night.”
The Taliban’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs further added that Israel has continued since October of last year committing genocide against over 33,000 non-combatants in Gaza, violating the sovereignty of other countries, and spreading insecurity through provocative actions in the region to divert world attention from its crimes in Gaza.
The Taliban called on the global community to accelerate their efforts to stop Israel’s crimes to prevent the crisis in the Middle East from escalating.
It is worth mentioning that the Islamic Republic of Iran attacked targets inside Israeli territory with 300 drones and cruise missiles last night.
Iran referred to this attack as a “sincere promise” and it was carried out in response to Israel’s attack on the diplomatic center in Damascus, the capital of Syria.
