Bayan News – Abdulmatín Qánic, spokesman for the Taliban’s Ministry of Interior, says that the 888th battalion of the Senior Security Affairs Special Forces of the ministry freed a child from the hands of kidnappers in Balkh.
Mr. Qánic wrote last night (June 3) on the X platform that the kidnappers had demanded $300,000 in exchange for the release of this child.
According to the spokesman of the Ministry of Interior, one kidnapper was killed in this operation and five others were arrested.
It is worth noting that the level of criminal offenses across the country has decreased since the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan.
