Israeli Prime Minister dissolves the Security Cabinet
Bayan News – International media outlets have reported, based on Israeli officials, that Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, dissolved the Security Cabinet on Monday (June 17).
According to Reuters, after dissolving the Security Cabinet, the Israeli Prime Minister is now consulting with a small group of ministers, including Yoav Gallant, the Defense Minister, regarding the war with Hamas.
The Israeli Security Cabinet was formed after the October 7th Hamas attack on Israel.
In the latest developments in the Gaza war, the Israeli military has announced a “tactical pause” in part of the region to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid.
According to Reuters, Benjamin Netanyahu has criticized this move by the military. An Israeli official said: “When the Prime Minister heard the report of the 11-hour humanitarian pause in the morning, he went to his military minister and clearly said that this is unacceptable to him.”
The Israeli military has stated that regular operations will continue in Rafah, the main center of operations.
