Three-way talks between Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and the Taliban on the creation of a new railway line

Bayan News – Officials from Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and the Taliban discussed the construction of a new railway line.

According to reports published on Sunday (July 21), this railway line will connect Turkmenistan to Pakistan and India through Afghanistan.

During this meeting, discussions also took place regarding the construction of a new railway line from Torghundi, Herat, Kandahar, and Spin Boldak.

According to the reports, Turkmenistan has reached an agreement with the Taliban on the establishment of a logistics center in Torghundi and plans to start construction work on it in the near future.

The Taliban representatives at the meeting said they are ready to cooperate on the transit of goods from Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan to Pakistan.

So far, no country has officially recognized the Taliban, but some Central Asian countries have diplomatic and economic relations with the Taliban.
