Bayan News – Kamala Harris, the Vice President of the United States, secured the necessary threshold for the Democratic nomination for the 2024 presidential election in a virtual vote on Friday (August 2).
The virtual voting by the Democratic National Committee began at 9 a.m. on Thursday.
According to reports, the committee finally announced today that Harris is the only candidate who has obtained sufficient delegate support to participate in the election.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden has withdrawn his candidacy for the U.S. presidency and has expressed his support for Kamala Harris.
