Israel-Hezbollah War: Over 400,000 People Displaced from Lebanon

Bayan News – International media have reported that Israel’s continuous attacks on southern Lebanon and the suburbs of the capital have led to the displacement of hundreds of thousands of people.

Arab News, late yesterday (October 7), quoted the Lebanese government as saying that in less than two weeks, more than 400,000 people have fled to Syria due to the intensified Israeli attacks on Hezbollah.

The outlet also cited a crisis unit in Lebanon, reporting that over 300,000 of those who fled between September 23 and Saturday were Syrians returning to their war-torn country, while more than 102,000 were Lebanese escaping the conflict in Lebanon.

It is also worth noting that in addition to the 400,000 people who have crossed Lebanon’s borders, more than one million people have been displaced within the country.
