At least 20 killed in two Israeli airstrikes on Syria’s capital
Bayan News – Syrian state media has reported that following two Israeli airstrikes on Damascus, the capital of Syria, at least 20 civilians have been killed and 16 others injured.
The Israeli airstrikes took place on Thursday afternoon (November 14) in the Al-Mazzeh and Qudsaya areas to the west of Damascus.
These strikes occurred near the meeting site of an Iranian delegation, headed by Ali Larijani, with Syrian officials. Ali Larijani, advisor to the leader of the Islamic Republic, had arrived in Damascus for talks.
The Israeli military has stated that the targets of the attacks included bases of the Palestinian “Jihad” movement and other military sites in Damascus.
However, Israel has not provided further details regarding the attacks.
Meanwhile, some media outlets have reported that the Israeli airstrikes targeted several residential buildings in western Damascus.
