Former US President Donald Trump has said he will be arrested by the country’s police on charges of paying blackmail to an American actor.
On his social media network Truth Social, he called on his supporters to protest the decision, which he considers political.
Trump’s comments come as the country’s police have filed a lawsuit against him for allegedly raping an American woman.
On the other hand, those close to Trump added that the former U.S. president has not received any messages or warnings regarding detention.
However, the New York Prosecutor’s Office has been investigating the case for more than five years.
