Interior Ministry gives gun owners ‘one month’ to get permits

The Acting Government’s Interior Ministry issued a statement giving gun holders in the capital and provinces one month to obtain a permit to carry weapons.

The communiqué, issued on Saturday (April 1), states that the decision was made to stabilize and identify irresponsible gunmen and used persons.

“In order to stabilize and identify non-disabled gunmen and used persons, opportunists and better security measures discovered and used throughout the country, it is necessary that the general public personnel and mujahideen of civilian and military agencies of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan who are losing weapons, head of 1402/01/13, to obtain form and during the process of the license card to carry weapons in the center to the Ministry of Interior’s Public Services Directorate,” the communiqué said. “The provinces refer to the diak management of the police chiefs to obtain their weapons card after legal proceedings.”

According to this communiqué, a month has been set for the offices and after the mentioned appointment, the agencies will not have the right to file a complaint.
