Arrest of a policewoman in Ghazni province

Sources have informed the Afghan media about the arrest of a policewoman by the forces of the Islamic Emirate in Ghazni province.

A source told the Daily Information newspaper that this woman’s name is “Mahtab Hamdard” and she served as a policewoman in the prison of Daikundi Province in the previous government.

According to this source, Mahtab was arrested two days ago from Nowabad area of Ghazni city for an unknown reason.

Mahtab was unemployed after the fall of the previous government and had just entered Kabul from Daikundi and then went to Ghazni.

Relatives of this policewoman said that they approached the police chief of Ghazni province, but the security officials expressed ignorance about Mahtab’s arrest.

Recently, there have been reports of arrests by the security forces of the previous government, but the officials of the Islamic Emirate have denied these reports.

Officials of the Islamic Emirate have said that a general amnesty is being implemented and according to this amnesty, no one will be arrested without reason.
