Bayan news

The World Health Organization has expressed concern about the increase in the death of infants in Afghanistan by publishing statistics.

This organization announced on Monday (April 17) that babies in Afghanistan die daily due to preventable factors and international organizations should act faster to improve the health of mothers and babies.

The statement of this organization states: “We must act quickly to save lives and improve the health of mothers and children.”

The World Health Organization, stating that acute food insecurity in Afghanistan is devastating, said that 20 million people in this country are exposed to hunger and infectious diseases.

However, published reports show that more than 28 million people in Afghanistan need humanitarian assistance, of which six million are at risk of acute famine.

International organizations have always asked the international community to increase humanitarian aid in order to prevent the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan.
