Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto said at the meeting of the foreign ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states that a stable Afghanistan is the key to world peace.

The meeting of the foreign ministers of the member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization was held today, Friday (May 5), hosted by India.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, which published part of Bhutto’s speech, added in this meeting: “A peaceful and stable Afghanistan is not only the key to regional integration and economic cooperation, but also the key to global peace and stability.”

He stated that the threat of terrorism should be eliminated in a collective way, and noted that the region should not be captured by the weaponization of terrorism to gain diplomatic points.

The foreign minister of Pakistan makes these statements while he has been accused of supporting terrorism in the region for the last two decades.

Now, after 20 years when a big change took place in Afghanistan, Islamabad claims that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Taliban is threatening the stability and security of Pakistan by using Afghan soil.
