UNAMA: We raise people’s awareness in the fight against child labor in Afghanistan

Bayan news

The Office of the United Nations Deputy Mission on the World Day Against Child Labor in Afghanistan says that the organization is committed to increase people’s awareness.

Today, Monday (June 12), coincides with the World Day against Child Labor. This day is coming when children in Afghanistan are used in hard work due to economic problems and widespread poverty among families.

However, the caretaker government of Kabul has recently passed a bill to prevent the employment of children in hard work as well as pottery making, but this bill has not yet been implemented as required.

In this regard, UNAMA says: “In order to end child labor in Afghanistan and beyond this country, we raise people’s awareness and take necessary measures.”

This organization asked people to support their efforts.
