Mujahid: Extensive propaganda has been launched against the Islamic Emirate by the Western governments

At the same time as the 50th meeting of the United Nations Human Rights Council was held in Genoa, Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson of the caretaker government in Kabul, says that a wide propaganda against the Islamic Emirate has been launched from the address of this organization and western governments.

Mujahid wrote in a tweet on Tuesday morning (June 20) “From the address of the United Nations, some western institutions and governments have launched extensive propaganda against the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.”

According to Mujahid, the report of Richard Bennett, the United Nations Special Rapporteur for Afghanistan, about the situation in this country, is just propaganda that does not match the facts.

The spokesperson of the caretaker government of Kabul continued to emphasize that Islamic laws are in force in Afghanistan, protests against them are a problem with Islam.

Bennett had presented his latest report on the situation of Afghan women and girls at the meeting of the United Nations Human Rights Council.

He said in this meeting that the caretaker government of Kabul has issued about 50 restrictive decrees against Afghan women and girls, and at the same time, women are systematically discriminated against and oppressed.
