Bayan News – Antonio Guterres, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, says that women and girls’ rights should be respected everywhere as they deserve respect and a life with dignity.
He made these remarks in a tweet on Monday morning, July 31st.
The UN Secretary-General said, “We will never give up the fight to ensure that their fundamental human rights are respected everywhere.”
He made these remarks while women and girls in Afghanistan have been removed from social life under the new rule of the Islamic Emirate.
The Kabul caretaker government has banned women and girls from work, education, and other social activities through various orders over the past two years.
