Bayan News – Reports from Takhar province in northern Afghanistan indicate that a man has shot and killed four members of his wife’s family following a verbal altercation.
Local media reports mention a man named Abdul Star who, around 9:00 p.m. last night (October 15th), opened fire on members of his wife’s family.
Takhar security officials have also confirmed the incident, stating that in the shooting, two children and two women lost their lives, while four others were injured.
Mawin Safi, the spokesperson for the security command, stated that the motive behind this mass killing was family feuds.
Similar incidents have occurred in several provinces of Afghanistan before.
