Over 100 Diesel Tankers Returned to Iran

Bayan News – Officials from the National Standards Authority report that in the past ten days, 103 diesel tankers have been identified as low quality through laboratory testing and have been returned to Iran.

According to a newsletter published by the authority on Friday (October 19th), these fuel tankers were returned from the port of 78 Mile in Farah Province.

The newsletter states, “These tankers, which had been loaded with fuel in Iran, underwent laboratory testing by the technical staff of the authority in 78 Mile Port and were assessed as being of poor quality.”

Previously, imported fuels from Iran have been returned to Iran after being evaluated as low quality through laboratory testing at the country’s ports.

However, most petroleum products from Iran are still imported through the western provinces’ ports in Afghanistan and are supplied to the country’s markets.
