Ceasefire between Israel and Hamas Breaks Down

Bayan News – International media outlets have reported that the war between the Israeli military and Hamas forces has resumed following the end of a seven-day ceasefire in northern Gaza.

The Israeli military announced on Friday morning (December 1) on its X platform that Hamas forces had violated the terms of the ceasefire by firing towards Israel.

Israeli security officials have stated that with the violation of the ceasefire, the war with Hamas in the Gaza Strip has resumed.

According to the Israeli military, prior to the end of the seven-day ceasefire, they had intercepted a rocket fired from Gaza.

Previously, Israel and Hamas had agreed to a four-day ceasefire to secure the release of hostages, and through diplomatic efforts, this ceasefire was extended for an additional two days.

However, during the days of the ceasefire, 110 Israeli hostages and nearly 250 Palestinians were exchanged between the two sides.
