Japan’s $58 million aid to the people of Afghanistan
Bayan News – The Japanese embassy in Kabul has announced that the country is providing $58 million in aid to address the needs of the people of Afghanistan.
In a newsletter on Monday, December 4th, the embassy expressed hope that this assistance would contribute to improving the lives of the people and resolving economic problems effectively.
According to the Japanese embassy in Kabul, this aid package will be delivered through United Nations-related organizations, international organizations, and Japanese non-governmental institutions.
However, statistics show that Japan has provided nearly $500 million in aid since the establishment of the Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan.
Previously, the European Union also announced that it would provide approximately €142 million in assistance for health, education, and returnees from Pakistan.
