Bayan News – Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, the leader of the Islamic Party, recently claimed that the United States has threatened the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan with the establishment of an all-encompassing government.
According to Tolo News, Hekmatyar, speaking in an online meeting with members of his party, emphasized that the language and positions of the United States regarding Afghanistan have changed.
The leader of the Islamic Party further added that Washington has threatened the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, stating that if its conditions are not accepted, support for its opponents will begin.
Hekmatyar claimed that while urging the swift formation of an all-encompassing government, he has also presented a list to the interim Kabul government.
Referring to recent meetings of opponents of the Islamic Emirate in Russia, Tajikistan, and Austria, he highlighted that there is a new game being played behind these gatherings orchestrated by the United States.
Officials from the interim Kabul government have not yet responded to Hekmatyar’s statements.
