Bayan News – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that a joint meeting of regional representatives on Afghanistan will be held in Kabul.
Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, the deputy spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, wrote on the X platform today, Thursday, January 10, that this matter was discussed and agreed upon during the meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Further details of this matter have not been discussed, and it is not clear exactly when the meeting of regional representatives will be held in Kabul.
The Iranian embassy in Kabul had also stated last night that the matter of holding a meeting of regional representatives on Afghan affairs was discussed between Hassan Kazemi Qomi and Amir Khan Muttaqi.
At the same time, it is said that in the near future, another meeting of regional representatives for Afghanistan will be hosted by the United Nations.
This meeting will take place in the second half of January of the current month.
