Taliban Holds its Thirteenth Cabinet Meeting
Bayan News – The thirteenth cabinet meeting was held on Monday, January 15, under the leadership of Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, the Taliban’s Prime Minister.
According to Arg, it was announced in a newsletter that in this meeting, the High Commission for Migrants was tasked with taking serious measures to address the employment, housing, and other problems of returning migrants.
The newsletter stated that a committee consisting of officials from the Kabul Municipality, Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Rural Development, Ministry of Agriculture, and Ministry of Urban Development was appointed in the cabinet meeting to examine highways, secondary roads, and internal roads in the provinces.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Public Welfare was assigned to address the issues related to cargo transportation on the Salang Highway route.
It should be noted that the Salang Highway, which had been closed for about three months for reconstruction, was reopened one month ago.
