Iranian Foreign Minister Travels to the United States for Security Council Meeting

Bayan News – The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the trip of Hussain Amir-Abdollahian to New York, stating that he will deliver a speech at the United Nations Security Council meeting, which focuses on “Palestine.”

The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote on the X platform last night (January 22) that Mr. Abdollahian has traveled to New York to participate in the UN Security Council meeting, following Iran’s regional and international negotiations in support of the Palestinian people.

In addition to his speech at the Security Council meeting, the Iranian Foreign Minister will also have bilateral meetings and media interviews with reporters during this trip.

Abdollahian further stated that he will hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts on the sidelines of the Security Council meeting.

However, as a result of the three-month conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, more than 25,000 civilians have been killed.
