Taliban to Host “Regional Cooperation Initiative” Meeting in Kabul Tomorrow

Bayan News – The Taliban’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the hosting of a “Regional Cooperation Initiative” meeting in Kabul, with the participation of special representatives and ambassadors from neighboring and regional countries.

According to the Foreign Ministry’s newsletter, the meeting will take place tomorrow, Monday (January 29), and will focus on establishing a regional narrative between Afghanistan and regional countries, as well as expanding comprehensive regional cooperation.

The ministry stated that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan aims to discuss regional-centric interaction strategies based on mutual interests, mutual respect, and regional connectivity and transit opportunities.

This will be the first regional meeting held in Kabul following the Taliban’s assumption of power in Afghanistan, with the presence of special representatives and ambassadors from regional countries.
