Bayan News – The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has announced Germany’s €5 million aid to the people of Afghanistan.
The organization allocated the German aid on the Universal Ex platform on Tuesday (February 5).
It is still unclear in which areas of Afghanistan this German aid will be utilized, and OCHA has not provided clarification on this matter.
However, OCHA has mentioned that this funding has increased compared to the previous year in terms of the sectors it will be allocated to in Afghanistan.
According to international organizations’ concerns, over 20 million people in Afghanistan are in need of humanitarian assistance this year.
