Azizi: Afghanistan’s exports have increased by 120 percent

Bayan News – Nuroddin Azizi, the acting Minister of Industry and Trade of the Taliban, stated that Afghanistan’s exports have increased by 120 percent over the past two years.

He made these remarks today, Tuesday (March 4), at the Turkmen-Afghan Trade Connectivity Conference held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.

According to the acting Minister of Industry and Trade of the Taliban, overall security, process facilitation, combating administrative corruption, and transparency in government affairs have contributed to the growth of Afghanistan’s trade.

The acting Minister of Industry and Trade of the Taliban also emphasized that the current system in Afghanistan has effectively engaged in bilateral regional interactions in various sectors of trade and transit in a short period.

He further stated that these activities have been beneficial in attracting international investments.

Mr. Azizi recently led a delegation to Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan. The purpose of this trip was to participate in the above-mentioned conference and hold economic discussions with Turkmen officials.
