In an armed attack on a Pakistani army base, six soldiers and one commander were killed

Bayan News – Pakistani media reports that in an armed attack on the army base in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan, six army soldiers and one commander were killed.

The Pakistani army confirmed in a statement on Sunday (March 16) that a group of six armed attackers, using a car bomb, attacked a security checkpoint.

According to the Pakistani army’s statement, after the car bomb explosion, the attackers engaged in an armed confrontation with the army forces.

It is said that Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has claimed responsibility for this attack.

However, Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan has reported carrying out nearly 100 armed attacks against the Pakistani army in the past year.
