Taliban Defense Ministry: We have targeted military centers in Pakistan along the imaginary Durand Line
Bayan News – The Taliban Defense Ministry, through the release of an image of Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, the head of this ministry wearing a military uniform, has stated that the Pakistani fighter jets’ airstrikes on Afghan soil will not go unanswered.
The ministry confirmed today, Tuesday, March 18, in a newsletter: “In the early hours of this morning, Pakistani fighter jets and drones once again crossed aggressively into Afghan territory and bombed residential homes of local residents in the Spin Khwost and Barmal districts of Paktika province.”
According to the ministry, in response to this incursion, border forces have targeted military centers in Pakistan along the imaginary Durand Line with heavy weapons.
The Taliban Defense Ministry continues to emphasize that defense and security forces are prepared to respond to any aggressive actions and will defend territorial integrity.
Pakistani army fighter jets carried out airstrikes this morning in areas of the Khost and Paktika provinces.
It has been reported that as a result of these attacks, five people, including women and children, have been killed.
