Taliban Forces Launch Artillery Attack on Pakistani Border Post Across the Durand Line
Bayan News – Sources have reported that following a border clash between Taliban forces and Pakistani military personnel in the Dand Patan district of Paktia province, three Pakistani border troops have been injured.
According to the sources, Taliban forces launched an artillery attack on Pakistani military posts in the Borqi area across the Durand Line.
So far, the security officials of the Taliban government have not taken a position on the border clashes with Pakistan.
The skirmish between Taliban border forces and Pakistan took place early this morning on Monday (March 18th) in the Dand Patan district of Paktia province.
Moments prior to this clash, Pakistani army fighter jets conducted airstrikes in areas of the Khost and Paktia provinces, which are said to have targeted Pakistani Taliban militants.
