Manizha Seddiqi has been released from Taliban prison

Bayan News – It has been reported that Manizha Seddiqi, along with 500 other prisoners, has been released from Taliban captivity in Kabul.

The leadership members of the self-emerged women’s protest movement in Afghanistan have confirmed to the media that Manizha Seddiqi was released from the Taliban prison yesterday (April 6).

However, they have not provided any information about the health condition of this women’s protester.

Manizha Seddiqi has been freed from the Taliban prison after seven months.

She was arrested and imprisoned last year on charges of burning a picture of the Taliban leader.

In a press conference last week, she stated that she had not been tortured in the Taliban prison and continued to urge the Taliban to release her during the holiday period.

This press conference by Manizha has sparked reactions from social media users.
