Abdollahian: Iran will not hesitate to defend its legitimate interests against any new aggression by Israel

Bayan News- Hussain Amir Abdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, says that the Islamic Republic has no intention to continue defensive operations under these circumstances.

He wrote on the X platform on Monday (April 14) that the exercise of legitimate defense rights shows Iran’s responsible approach to regional and international peace and security.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran continued to write: “The Islamic Republic of Iran has no intention to continue defensive operations at this time, but if necessary, it will not hesitate to safeguard its legitimate interests against any new aggression.”

Last night, the Islamic Republic launched a drone and missile attack targeting objectives within Israeli territory.

Following this attack, the Israeli government declared that it will respond to Iran at the appropriate time and conditions.

The escalation of clashes between Iran and Israel has increased regional and international concerns regarding the intensification of tensions in the region.
