Abdullah and Mohaqiq condemned the attack attributed to Israel inside Iran

Bayan News – Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, former Chief Executive of the Afghan Government’s High Council for National Reconciliation, and Haji Mohammad Mohaqiq, leader of the People’s Unity Party of Afghanistan, have condemned the attack attributed to Israel inside Iran.

Mr. Abdullah stated in a message on Friday (April 19): “The main cause of this tension in the region is Israel’s policies against the oppressed people of Palestine and their massacre in Gaza and the attack on Iran’s diplomatic representation in Syria.”

The former Afghan official stated that Israel, due to deflecting public attention from its crimes in Gaza and silencing internal dissent, has resorted to such irresponsible actions.

According to Abdullah, any attack and aggression on the soil of the Islamic Republic of Iran will lead the region into further tension and conflicts, intensifying the crises and instabilities in the region.

In his message, Abdullah said: “We consider the peaceful and diplomatic solutions as the resolution to the current crisis and all other crises. We do not support increasing tensions and dragging the region into crisis by invading the soil of the Islamic Republic of Iran. We support any effort to de-escalate and resolve crises peacefully.”

Meanwhile, Haji Mohammad Mohaqiq added that Israel’s attack with a number of drones on Isfahan, Iran, whatever it may be, is an unwarranted aggression against a major regional country.

Mohaqiq stated: “The Zionist regime’s attack with a number of small drones, whatever it may be, is an unwarranted aggression against a major regional country. We strongly condemn it and warn of the consequences for the region and the world.

The Afghan political leader further stated that such irresponsible actions by Israel are detrimental to global peace and security, and it is expected that the issues will be resolved in a way that leads to stability and peace in the countries of the region.

Tensions between Israel and Iran have escalated in recent days, raising international concerns about the possibility of a new crisis in the region.
