Argentina demands the arrest of Iran’s Interior Minister
Bayan News – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Argentina has requested the arrest of Ahmad Vahidi, Iran’s Interior Minister.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Argentina, it is stated that Vahidi was involved in the bombing of a Jewish cultural center in Buenos Aires 30 years ago.
The Iranian Interior Minister, who is currently on a foreign trip, has been requested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Argentina to be detained by Interpol.
According to published reports, in the bombing of the Jewish center in Argentina (AMIA) in 1994, 85 people were killed and 300 others were injured.
However, the Islamic Republic of Iran denies its involvement in this explosion.
