World Bank Emphasizes Support for the Private Sector to Improve Afghanistan’s Economy

Bayan News – The World Bank has stated in its recent report that supporting the private sector in Afghanistan can help improve the country’s economic situation.

The World Bank has recently published its report titled “Challenges Review: Combating Economic Recession and Inflation,” and according to this report, supporting the private sector in Afghanistan can to some extent prevent the collapse of the country’s economy.

According to the report, a 26% reduction in GDP growth and declining foreign support paint a bleak picture of Afghanistan’s economic outlook.

The World Bank report suggests that structural challenges in the private sector, coupled with reduced international support, may hinder any economic progress in Afghanistan.

According to the report, this economic downturn can lead to an increase in poverty and unemployment in Afghanistan, where half of the population is heavily reliant on foreign aid.
