The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) called for practical support for women in Afghanistan
Bayan News – The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) on Monday (June 3) called on the international community to provide practical support for women and girls in Afghanistan.
The OSCE meeting, held in Vienna, the capital of Austria, with the participation of representatives and experts from various countries, discussed the challenges faced by Afghan women and girls.
At this meeting, support was expressed for the right to education and employment of Afghan women, and the world was asked to take practical steps in support of Afghan women.
The meeting emphasized practical solutions to empower Afghan women and reduce their challenges.
This organization said it supports the rights of Afghan women, particularly their right to education and employment, and called for sustained international support and cooperation.
After coming to power in Afghanistan, the Taliban imposed severe restrictions, including banning girls’ education and prohibiting women from working in offices.
