Bayan News – The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced on Thursday (June 13) that the country has signed the contract for the purchase of F-16 fighter jets.
Turkish media, citing the country’s Ministry of Defense, reported that the teams of both parties are in negotiations over the details of this contract.
It had previously been reported that Turkey had raised the request to purchase F-16 fighter jets from the United States in 2021.
This contract had been suspended due to Turkey’s opposition to Sweden’s membership in NATO.
