The NATO approved a plan to provide security and training assistance to the Ukrainian armed forces

Bayan News – The defense ministers of NATO member countries have announced that they have recently approved a plan to provide security and training assistance to the Ukrainian armed forces.

The plan was approved on Friday (June 14) at the meeting of NATO defense ministers.

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said after the meeting that the approved plan will be implemented at U.S. and German military bases with the presence of 700 personnel.

The NATO Secretary-General stated that in a more dangerous world, NATO is stronger than ever with more than 500,000 troops.

He expressed hope that the President of the United States and the allies of Kyiv will agree to maintain the level of funding for military support to Ukraine.

Jens Stoltenberg estimates that Ukraine’s annual equipment needs are around $43 billion.

It is worth noting that in recent months, Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly warned the West and NATO that if they intervene and provide weapons assistance to Ukraine, it will lead to a global conflict.
