Trump: The Mullah Brother was calling me ‘Your Excellency’

Bayan News – Former US President Donald Trump, in the fourth gathering of Republicans, said that he had warned the Taliban not to attack American soldiers again; while during the Obama administration, American soldiers and citizens were being killed.

In his speech, Trump said: “We left behind $85 billion worth of military equipment, we abandoned many American citizens, and many of our enemies became emboldened, Russia invaded Ukraine.”

The Republican presidential candidate said: “If they had followed my plan and if it had been implemented as the Taliban kept their promises; my plan was step-by-step. I talked to the Taliban leader. He is still the Taliban leader. I told them not to kill any more Americans. I told them that if you kill an American, I will hit you in a way that no one has ever been hit before.”

Trump added: “And (the Mullah Brother) said he understood, ‘Your Excellency’. He was calling me ‘Your Excellency’. I wonder if you also call other world leaders ‘Your Excellency’?”

Bagram is now under Chinese control

The former US president continued in this speech to criticize the Biden administration for recklessly abandoning the Bagram airfield, which is only an hour away from China.

He added that China has now taken control of this airfield.

He said the importance of Bagram is not because of Afghanistan, but because it is located an hour away from the Chinese border.

Trump also asserted that under President Joe Biden’s leadership, the US left behind $85 billion worth of military equipment in Afghanistan when withdrawing troops, which he said the Taliban is “selling”.

Trump said the US not only left behind these weapons, but also evacuated the Bagram airbase, which he claims China is now using.

The Taliban government officials have not yet responded to these statements made by the former US president.
