The reaction of university-deprived girls; the entrance exam once again showed the inequality in Afghan society
Bayan News- A group of girls who have been excluded from university reacted to the announcement of the results of the 1403 entrance exam and labeled this exam as a reflection of the inequality in Afghan society.
Samiha Heydari, one of the girls who was left out of university when the Taliban entered Kabul, wrote on her Facebook page that the Taliban, by excluding girls from the entrance exam, have destroyed the dreams of Afghan girls.
She stated that justice has been eradicated from Afghan society and emphasized that for Afghanistan to progress and develop, women and girls must be involved in education.
This student explicitly stated that the Taliban has put Afghanistan on a path that is dark and uncertain, and that no hope can be found within the layers of Afghan society.
Nilofar Ebrahimi is another girl who did not have the opportunity to participate in the entrance exam, as she was about to graduate when the Taliban imposed the ban on girls’ education.
Nilofar also wrote in a post that the actions of the Taliban, besides severely affecting the lives of girls, have exposed them to increasing challenges, including early marriages and fleeing the country.
Shaghofa Sadat, in response to the announcement of the entrance exam results, said that the Taliban has severely struck the spirit and high goals of Afghan girls with their despicable actions, and that this damage will not be able to be compensated for in the long term.
According to her, under the Taliban regime, girls are suppressed at any level where they have talent and capacity, and they cannot be of benefit to their own society.
The results of the entrance exam were announced on Monday (July 21), and this is the third time that girls have been deprived of participating in the entrance exam.
