New Statements by a Pakistani Religious Figure on the Taliban’s Educational Curriculum
Bayan News – Maulana Fazlur Rahman, the leader of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam party in Pakistan, recently stated that the Taliban in Afghanistan are working on the educational curriculum to positively change the mindset of Afghans towards Pakistan.
This prominent Pakistani religious scholar stated in an interview with Radio Mashaal that the previous Afghan government had promoted a negative mindset towards Pakistan.
He said that after the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan in August 2021, the people faced problems from the community because the Taliban were supporters and allies of Pakistan.
Fazlur Rahman stated in his remarks that during his trip to Afghanistan, he discussed the issue of the educational curriculum with Taliban officials and shared the matter of changing the positive mindset with them.
The Taliban officials in Afghanistan have not reacted to these statements.
This religious and political figure of the Taliban has made controversial statements towards the people of Afghanistan in the past two years, which have drawn widespread reactions.
With his arrival in Kabul, a large number of Afghans in various cities, including Kabul, protested and considered his coming to Kabul as a form of interference in Afghanistan’s affairs.
However, the Taliban had also announced after coming to power in Afghanistan that they are working on the educational curriculum of Afghan schools and universities, but the details of these changes have not yet been made clear to the people.
