Bayan News – Taliban officials in Ghazni province reported the arrest of a man who blinded his wife by throwing acid on her.
The Taliban’s security command in Ghazni said in a statement on Tuesday (July 24) that the man had thrown acid on his third wife in the “Gungi” village of Qarabagh district in the province.
The Taliban stated that this man had previously killed two of his wives.
The command added that Taliban forces arrested this man from the “Manju” village of Andar district.
In a second incident, a child was killed by an air rifle while playing with his brother in the 4th district of Ghazni city.
The Taliban security command said the child was initially wounded and was taken to Kabul for treatment, but died in Kabul.
In another incident, a 4-year-old girl died after falling into a pond in the “Sharif Khil” village of Ajristan district, Ghazni.
The Taliban security command said the child was playing on the edge of the pond when she suddenly fell into the water and died.
