Arab sources: Pakistan wants to provide military support to Iran against Israel
Bayan News – Several Arab sources told the Jerusalem Post on Tuesday (August 6) that the Pakistani government intends to support Iran militarily in the event of a war between Iran and Israel.
The Jerusalem Post reported in its report that Pakistan has also announced its decision to help Iran at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation meeting in Jeddah.
According to the report, the Pakistani government wants to provide the Islamic Republic with the “Shaheen-3” medium-range ballistic missiles.
The exact timing of the Islamic Republic’s attack on Israel is not yet known, but Arab sources said the attack could happen within the next 48 hours.
The emergency meeting of the foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation was held in Saudi Arabia yesterday at the request of Iran and Pakistan.
At this meeting, the war between Israel and Hamas and the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas’ political office, were discussed.
Concerns about a full-scale war between Iran and Israel have arisen at a time when the US Secretary of Defense has recently visited Israel and the Secretary of the Russian Security Council has also traveled to Tehran.
According to published reports, global and regional diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions in the Middle East have so far been unsuccessful.
