An Afghan female athlete was excluded from the 2024 Olympics due to political propaganda
Bayan News – Manizha Talash, an Afghan refugee athlete who was set to represent Afghanistan in the 2024 Paris Olympics, was excluded from these games for making a political statement.
The Afghan female athlete displayed the slogan “Free Afghan Women!” to the spectators during the “breakdance” competition.
According to the published reports, she not only lost the breakdance competition against “India Sardjo” from the Netherlands, but was also eliminated from the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The reason for the exclusion of this Afghan female athlete was cited as the violation of the Olympic games’ rules.
Article 50 of the Olympic Charter prohibits any kind of political, religious, and racial demonstrations or propaganda at the Olympic site or other areas.
