Bayan News – A source in west Kabul told Bayan News that in the explosion on Sunday afternoon (August 11) in Dasht-e-Barchi, Kabul, one civilian was killed and 12 others were injured.

This source shared a list of the casualties of this incident with the Bayan News reporter, which includes four women among the injured.

According to this source, the casualties of this incident were taken to Ali Jinnah and Emergency hospitals in Kabul city.

Meanwhile, Khalid Zadran, the spokesman for the Kabul Police Command, confirmed this incident and said that this explosion was caused by a mine planted in a “Mercedes” passenger vehicle.

This explosion occurred around 4:00 pm today in the “Daultai Tank” area of Dasht-e-Barchi, a Shia-majority area in west Kabul.

However, this is not the first time that passenger vehicles in the Shia-majority area of west Kabul have been targeted by explosions.

So far, no group has claimed responsibility for this incident, but previously the Khorasan branch of the terrorist group ISIS had claimed responsibility for the explosions in the Shia-majority area of west Kabul.
