Bayan News – It has been reported from Badghis province that a 20-year-old woman has committed suicide in the Qadis district of this province.
Local sources told the media yesterday (September 2) that this woman threw herself into a well in the village of “Haji Qurban” in the Qadis district of Badghis province and lost her life.
According to the sources, this woman took her own life due to family issues.
The sources also stated that the woman’s husband has been arrested by the Taliban.
Local Taliban officials have not commented on this incident.
The rate of suicide among women and men has increased in the past three years.
Domestic violence, poverty, unemployment, and the uncertain future of Afghanistan are considered key factors contributing to the rise in suicides.
