NATO Secretary General: Ukraine’s Attack on Russian Territory Achieved Success
Bayan News – Jens Stoltenberg, NATO Secretary General, said on Thursday (September 5) to reporters that Ukraine has achieved significant successes in its attack on the Kursk border region in Russia. However, Stoltenberg clarified that the future of the Ukrainian forces’ advance in that area is uncertain.
The NATO Secretary General added that Ukraine has the right to defend itself and can use long-range missiles against military targets deep within Russian territory. He further stated that the restrictions on the use of Western weapons in Ukraine’s attacks on Russian territory have been reduced, expressing satisfaction with this decision by NATO members.
Stoltenberg added, “Only Ukrainians can make the difficult choices that are necessary, including where to deploy their forces and what type of warfare is appropriate in these circumstances.”
