Kyrgyzstan’s Oil Exports to Afghanistan Have Increased

Bayan News – Reports indicate that oil exports from Kyrgyzstan in the first six months of this year have increased several times compared to the previous year.

The research organization “Argus” stated on Sunday (September 8) that from June to July 2024, 3,700 tons of oil were imported from Kyrgyzstan to Taliban-controlled Afghanistan.

According to this organization, Kyrgyzstan’s oil exports to Afghanistan during the same period last year were approximately 500 tons.

However, it is reported that this amount of oil has been sold in northern and central Afghanistan.

Afghanistan primarily imports its fuel needs, including oil and liquefied gas, from Iran and some Central Asian countries.

The British government will close the Afghan embassy in London by the end of this month
