Israel’s Warning: Attacks on Hezbollah Positions in Southern and Eastern Lebanon Will Intensify
Bayan News – Israel has announced the launch of extensive airstrikes on Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon, which are more intense compared to previous days.
Daniel Hagari, the spokesperson for the Israeli army, warned on Monday (September 23) that citizens and civilians, especially in southern Lebanon, should immediately distance themselves from locations and facilities used by Hezbollah for military purposes.
Daniel Hagari stated, “The precise and intense attacks in Lebanon will continue in the near future.”
Both Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon have threatened to escalate attacks amid rising border tensions, ignoring international calls to control the situation and avoid a full-scale war.
Announcing the escalation, the Israeli army spokesperson said, “Hezbollah has turned southern Lebanon into a war zone. It hides weapons inside civilian homes, consequently putting the residents of southern Lebanon at risk.”
Hezbollah, however, accuses Israel of deliberately targeting civilians in southern Lebanon.
