Israeli Army Attacks Dozens of Hezbollah Military Targets in Lebanon
Bayan News – On Sunday (September 29), the Israeli army announced that it had bombed dozens of military targets, including several launchers that were aimed at Israel.
In a statement, the Israeli army said that Israeli fighter jets attacked Hezbollah’s military infrastructure across Lebanon.
Despite the ongoing Israeli attacks on southern Lebanon, even after the announcement of the death of Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah’s Secretary-General, the newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported on Sunday morning that air raid sirens sounded in the city of Eilat, in southern Israel, the previous night.
At the same time, an Iraqi militia group claimed responsibility for a drone attack towards Eilat.
The militia group claimed to have targeted an Israeli military site with a drone.
Additionally, the Israeli army announced that in recent hours, it had attacked dozens of Hezbollah military targets, including launchers that were aimed at Israel.
The Israeli army’s statement added, “We attacked Hezbollah’s military infrastructure across Lebanon.”
Lebanese sources reported that Israel targeted southern Lebanon with heavy artillery fire throughout the night, including buildings in the city of Tyre.
These sources also stated that some Israeli airstrikes, carried out with drones, caused large fires in buildings in the city of Tyre.
